Upwork Terms and Policies

If you found me through Upwork, Upwork’s Terms of Service apply to that engagement, including the Non-Circumvention policy (Section 7 of the User Agreement). In those cases, Upwork requires that contracting, communication, and payment take place on the Upwork platform.

In general, this means:

• Contracts are created and managed on Upwork

• Project communication happens through Upwork messaging

• Payments are processed through Upwork

• Off-platform contact or work occurs only after an active Upwork contract

These requirements apply for 24 months from the start of an Upwork working relationship. They reflect Upwork’s platform rules and do not indicate any broader exclusivity beyond Upwork-originated work.
